N/AOn Sunday, May 22, 2016, at approximately 1:00 p.m., a Hispanic male suspect stabbed the victim in the neck, outside a convenience store located in the 9800 block of Beechnut Street in Houston, TX. Prior to this incident, the victim and suspect were involved in a confrontation inside the store. After the confrontation, the complainant went to the restroom and the suspect left the location. As the complainant was leaving the store, the suspect surprised him by running up to him and viciously stabbing him in the neck. The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction of travel and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital. The victim survived the attack after hours of surgery and is recovering from his injuries. The suspect possibly goes by the name ?Poppa? and is a vagrant who visits the area of 10100 Club Creek Drive. Suspect #1: Hispanic male, approximately 35-40 years old, 5?7? tall, 160 lbs., wearing a blue shirt with a front pocket and jeans. The suspect possibly shaved his head after the incident.
