Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an Aggravated Robbery – Deadly Weapon.

On Thursday, August 25, 2016, at approximately 8:45 a.m., a black male suspect wielding a pistol, attempted to rob a smoke shop located in the 6200 block of Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas. During this incident, the suspect came into the business and pointed a gun at the employee in an attempt to rob the store. The employee retrieved his own firearm and shot at the suspect, who ran off in an unknown direction of travel.

Video surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects during the attempted robbery.

Suspect #1: Black, male, with green baseball cap, approximately 18-20 years old, 5’07”, 140 lbs., wearing a black shirt, and blue jeans.
