Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an Aggravated Assault (Deadly Weapon) and an Aggravated Assault (Deadly Weapon) against a Public Servant.

On Friday, July 16, 2021, at approximately 7:50 p.m., the victim was shot and a public servant was shot at while at a shopping mall located at 5000 Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas. During the incident, there was a disturbance between the victim and the unknown suspect inside the shopping mall before the suspect shot and injured the victim. The suspect then shot at police officers in the parking lot as the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male with short hair, a goatee, approximately 18-30 years of age, 5'07" to 6'02" feet tall, and slim build.
