Safe Community Program

Crime Stoppers’ Safe Community Program’s focus is to prevent crime and empower the community.

As the leading crime prevention resource for the Houston community, Crime Stoppers’ role is to facilitate the important conversations with the community at large. We do this by working alongside homeowners associations, apartment associations, businesses, banks, community organizations, law enforcement and the media. We are able to conduct a series of education and awareness events throughout the year due to these partnerships.

Crime Stoppers of Houston has become a hub for agencies working towards community safety in all different aspects: animal cruelty, human trafficking, child abuse, elderly abuse, domestic violence, and more. Crime Stoppers has partnered with  groups such as the Greater Houston Loss Prevention Alliance, Houston PetSet, Aid to Victims of Domestic  Abuse, and The Houston Human Trafficking Task Force to provide safety education and crime trend information to the community through our media partnerships. We are proud to be the only non-profit in Houston providing the opportunity for many different groups to come together and collaborate on how we can work together to achieve our mission and goals.
