Fiery Beer Run
A male suspect entered a corner store and grabbed an 18-pack of Modelo beer, walked out of the store without paying for the merchandise, and got into his pickup truck. The store clerk gave chase but was unsuccessful in catching the suspect or retrieving the stolen beer. The suspect hurriedly placed his vehicle in reverse, struck a gas pump and fled the scene. After striking the gas pump, flames engulfed the pumps causing nearly $9,000 in damage. An anonymous tip was received that provided the name and location of the suspect.
