Fake Esthetician and Fake Botox
Crime Stoppers received a tip via the mobile app about a person that was believed to be posing as a licensed esthetician and administering cosmetic injections. They expressed concern for the safety of future clients. This information was quickly sent to investigators which set an undercover investigation into motion. During the investigation, it was learned that the suspect was performing non-surgical cosmetic procedures without a license or the supervision of a doctor. The suspect was arrested after an undercover officer was given a quote and prepped for injections. When a reporter asked if the suspect had anything to say, the suspect replied, “Hi beautiful”. It was later determined that some of the $11,000+ drugs used were not FDA approved.
