Young Mother Killed While Holding Son
On July 1, 2021, the victim was preparing for her sons first birthday and was holding her son when her ex began arguing with her. The suspect produced a firearm and shot the victim who was holding the toddler. Prior to fleeing the scene, the suspect also shot the one-year-old boy in the lower leg. The toddler was transported to a hospital with non-life threating injuries. Sadly, the young mother did not survive her injuries. The suspect was out on seven felony bonds when this incident took place.
