Serial Robbery Suspect Arrested
Between May and June 2020 the suspect planned to meet with multiple victims to purchase items the victims listed for sale on popular apps (Offer Up, Let Go and Facebook Marketplace). During the transaction, the suspect would “inspect” the item, assault the victim then flee with the items and cash to an awaiting vehicle. The items he got away with included $500 cash, two iPhones and two Louis Vuitton purses. One of the victims managed to get a picture of the suspect that was featured in the media. Crime Stoppers received an anonymous tip that provided the name and location of the suspect. As a result of this information the suspect was charged five felonies.
