Crime Stoppers of Houston invites you to a special drug trends training featuring Officer Jermaine Galloway “The Tall Cop”: High in Plain Sight: Current Alcohol, Drug and Concealment Trends and Identifiers Officer Jermaine Galloway, known as the “Tall Cop”, is a nationally and internationally recognized presenter who researches drug trends and the drug culture of a community. In this training, he will cover alcohol and drug clothing, alcoholic energy drinks, alco-pops, alcohol and drug concealment methods and containers, drug paraphernalia, drug related music and groups, logos, stickers, new technology, youth party tendencies, party games, non--‐traditional alcoholic beverages, social networking sites, synthetic drugs, OTC drugs, inhalants, concentrates, E-cigarettes, and popular party drugs. (Full class description can be found online) For each person to help prevent youth and adult substance abuse, you MUST know what is going on in your community. We hope you will join us! Crime victims and survivors will gather at events across the country to commemorate this Day of Remembrance. The purpose of this event is to focus on the impact of murder on families and communities, and ways to support and serve survivors. Family members and loved ones of murder victims, law enforcement, victim service agencies, parents of murdered children, and community members are invited to attend.
