Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department Vehicular Crimes Division need the public’s assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid – Fatality.

On Friday, August 23, 2024, at approximately 10:31 p.m., the victim was struck by a vehicle travelling northbound in the 10500 block of Southwest Fwy. in Houston, Texas. During the incident, the victim was walking on the freeway when struck by the suspect’s vehicle. As a result of the collision, the victim died as a result of the major injuries sustained.

The family of Willie K. Simmons Jr. is requesting the community’s help with identifying the suspect(s) responsible.
