N/ACrime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Burglary and Theft Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a Burglary of a Habitation.
On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, between 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., an unknown black male suspect burglarized a residence located in the 2100 block of Yale Street in Houston, Texas. Video surveillance captured the suspect entering the victim’s building empty handed. A few minutes later, the suspect was recorded leaving with the victim’s safe inside of a sewing machine bag. The suspect also stole other items from the victim’s bedroom, which included jewelry. The suspect fled in a white utility van (which has since been located). Investigators uncovered video footage of the suspect driving a black Cadillac Escalade a few days before the crime.
Suspect: Black male, muscular build, 5’09” to 6’00”, 180 - 210 lbs., with a goatee.
