On Sunday, January 1, 2023, at approximately 12:30 a.m., the victim was shot in the 6400 block of W. Bellfort Ave. in Houston, Texas. During the incident, the suspect discharged a firearm recklessly and struck the victim in the neck. The victim sustained a major injury and was transported to the hospital for treatment. The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction of travel.
