Hit & Run Suspect Caught
In the early morning of January 7, 2022, a driver of a pickup truck was traveling at a high speed when they hit a pedestrian that was walking down the street. The driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. A passerby noticed the victim lying face down on the road can called for help. The victim suffered very serious injuries and a heart attack as a result. Images of the suspect captured at a store shortly before the incident were distributed to the media. A tipster utilized the mobile app to provide information that aided police in charging and arresting the suspect.
