It's finally time again for a spooky, fun-filled night and lots of candy!
Halloween is said to be the most eagerly awaited night of the year for kids and about 41 million children go trick-or-treating each year in the US alone. But the fun doesn't come without dangers:
- Halloween is the deadliest night for pedestrians. On average twice as many child pedestrians are killed while walking on Halloween as compared to any other day..
- Only 1/3 of parents talk to their children about safety on Halloween Night.
- 12% of children 5 and under are permitted to trick-or-treat alone.
- Only 18% of parents use reflectors on their children’s costumes.
To ensure a SAFE and HAPPY HALLOWEEN we cannot forget important safety precautions.
